Position Overview
As an Employee Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Human Resource functions at the operational level, ensuring smooth HR processes and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and staffing processes.
- Ensure proper record keeping and management of Employee Benefits.
- Facilitate documentation for internal staff transfers, appointments, and adjustments.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues with proper documentation.
- Prepare and conduct HR awareness sessions on policies and procedures, both onshore and offshore (on Consort vessels).
- Collaborate with Employee Services Officers to manage all HR-related matters effectively.
- Coordinate HR audits as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee files.
- Participate in HR operational projects, team bonding events, and community service engagement programs.
- Provide HR guidance to department managers in line with Steamships Policies.
- Coordinate with the IT department for new joiner IT access, machine requests, phone arrangements, and more.
