Job : Digital & Technology Specialist

SP Brewery has an immediate requirement for a Digital & Technology (D&T) Specialist based in Port Moresby, reporting to the ICT Manager.

The D&T Specialist will be responsible for all new D&T initiatives local and global as well as administer and manage the ICT Support Request system to ensure effective and efficient ICT support is delivered to SPB users.

The D&T Specialist will also be responsible for all technical and digital initiatives for SPB Security Department as well as support the existing CCTV network and the Hikvision access control system.

Main Duties will include:

  • Responsible for any new D&T Transformation initiatives to be implemented, be it local or global at SPB across all areas of ICT.
  • Manage, track, and monitor development work using Microsoft power platforms by collaborating with Paperless Automation Team and Regional RPA team.
  • Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting SPB Security systems (Access Control & CCTV) issues and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Administer, monitor, maintain and respond in a very timely manner to requests for technical assistance received in ICT Support Request system.
  • Work with the Paperless Automation project team and P&CI to improve controls through digitalization.
  • Support the ICT Manager develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve user satisfaction through digitalization.
  • D&T Specialist may be required to travel to other SPB offices to lead the technical set-up of new SPB digital transformation initiatives.
  • Liaise and work closely with other members of the ICT Department to implement digital transformation initiatives.
  • The D&T Specialist will work collaboratively with other members of the Security Department and its service providers to provide effective support to Security Department.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Degree in Information Technology or Mathematics & Computer Science from a recognized University.
  • Must have three to five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Must have excellent understanding and good working knowledge of the use/application of Microsoft platforms and tools like SharePoint, PowerApp, Power Automate, etc.
  • Must have good experience developing and using the integrated Microsoft platform in developing apps,
  • Must have excellent understanding, experience and working knowledge of CCTV network, technologies, equipment, and design.
  • Must possess excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well at all levels with various audience.
  • Must be proficient in use of Office 365 applications and administration tools, including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, SharePoint, and Admin Consoles.
