SP Brewery has an immediate requirement for a Brewing Supervisor , reporting to the Brewing Manager, in Port Mores.
The Brewing Supervisor will apply safety agenda in the respective shifts, while managing the entire process with the aim of reaching the planned quantities and production quality and improving the key performance indicators.
Main duties include:
- Monitor and ensure that all activities are done in line with the HEINEKEN Safety, Food Safety and Sustainability standards, in the respective shifts.
- Collect data from the process together with the Operators.
- Monitor the hygienic, housekeeping and order in the respective shifts, and ensure proper execution according to the approved standards and procedures.
- Monitor and supervise all activities to ensure all are done in line with quality standards.
- Collect all data from the process together with the Operators.
- Participate, monitor and support the TPM way of working. Actively contribute to the AM Brewing agenda.
- Lead and support the implementation of improvement activities.
- Control execution of all Brewing operational processes.
- Support Operators when issues arise.
- Use approved and predefined reporting and escalation lines in terms of anomalies and deviations from the standards and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure production equipment are managed in the desired way (standard working condition).
- Provide support to the Operators and seek assistance from managerial level where required.
- Propose the equipment modifications and provide feedback to higher level according to the internal standards and procedures.
- Execute agreed plans and strategy.
- Collect data on Operators’ performance and provide feedback and input on their individual performance.
- Collect and process basic data (information, data, records, etc.) and compile report in line with the responsibility.
- Submit reports to higher management level.
- Follow production planning and support the needs of other Supply Chain Departments (e.g: Packaging, Warehouse).
- Ensure optimal use of the resources.
Qualification & Experience:
Preferred Bachelor education level.
1 – 3 years beverage technological experience and managing of people.
Brewing / Quality of Brewing / Biotechnology / FMCG production management, etc.
People management. Managing winning teams.
TPM / Lean / 6 Sigma, etc…
