SP Brewery has an immediate requirement for a Utilities Support Engineer based in Port Moresby, reporting to the Utility Engineer.
The Utilities Support Engineer must understand utility plant operations per ISO manual, will organize and monitor PM activities as per PM schedules, and establish a correlation between utility production and end-user consumption.
Apply the Safety agenda in the shift, while managing the entire process with the aim of reaching planned quantities and production quality and improving key performance indicators.
Main duties include:
- Establish individual plant operations per design specification.
- Install a method/timetable for PM activities.
- Assess knowledge of utilities technicians and initiate/roll out training to fill the gaps.
- Establish a method for monitoring utility production versus consumption.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Refrigeration legislation
- Basic Electricity legislation
