SP Brewery has an immediate requirement for an Engineering Storeman based in Port Moresby, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
The Engineering Storeman keeps spare parts in store to have the right spare parts available at reasonable cost.
Main duties include:
- Parts ordering and reordering
- Coding of spare parts
- Issue and receive parts, make GRN
- Stock counts
- Housekeeping (5S)
- Handover repairable to workshop
- Keep logbooks
- Produce list of parts below re-order points reports
- Nightly stock takes
- Order, issue
- Periodic stock counts
- Tools management
- Pick parts correctly for work orders
- Distribute parts for work orders in the visual work preparation system
Qualification and Experience:
- Grade 12 qualification or higher
- Experience in Stores and Stores Procedures, affinity with engineering and maintenance
- Spare parts accounting rules, spare parts management software (JDE, Maximo), spare parts management rules, standards, and procedures.
