FARMSET Graduate Development Program

FARMSET has announced applications for its Graduate Development Program aimed at developing young graduates into future leaders in Papua New Guinea’s agriculture sector.

The one-year full-time graduate program offers practical training, mentorship, rotational assignments across departments, and on-the-job learning opportunities for successful applicants.

Program Location

The program will be temporarily based in Goroka. Applicants must be willing to relocate to any FARMSET branch and be deployed nationwide when required.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:

• Agriculture
• Agribusiness
• Veterinary Science
• Agricultural Economics
• Animal Science

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be between 20 and 30 years old
• Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Papua New Guinea
• Must provide academic transcript or proof of academic standing
• Must be willing to work anywhere in Papua New Guinea

Work Experience

No formal work experience is required. However, internship experience, volunteer work, or academic projects will be considered an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Basic Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism

Program Duration

The Graduate Development Program is a one-year full-time program featuring rotational assignments, mentoring, and on-the-job training. Permanent employment may be offered based on performance.
