Job: Facilities Manager : MRDC

About the Role

MRDC Group is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee its commercial and residential property portfolio, ensuring all assets are well-maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of buildings and facilities
  • Plan and supervise maintenance programs
  • Manage utilities including power, water, sewerage, and HVAC systems
  • Supervise property officers, building managers, and maintenance teams
  • Oversee building systems such as lifts, fire systems, and generators
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Manage contractors including cleaning, security, and maintenance services
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets
  • Maintain asset registers and oversee capital works programs
  • Handle tenant issues, complaints, and service requests
  • Prepare reports and manage incident documentation

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property, or related field
  • Trade qualifications (building, electrical, HVAC) are an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Experience managing commercial or residential facilities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience managing budgets and service contracts
