High School Teacher Vacancies – 2026 Academic Year

The Salvation Army Academy Boroko Campus is inviting qualified and experienced High School Teachers to apply for teaching positions for the 2026 Academic Year.

Due to increasing student enrolment at the high school level, the school is seeking to recruit seven (7) dedicated teachers to strengthen its academic team.

Positions Available

• English – 2 positions
• Mathematics – 2 positions
• Science – 2 positions
• Social Science – 1 position

Applicants should also be able to teach minor subjects including MAL, Agriculture, Health, PD, CSD, and ICT.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Education in Secondary Teaching
• Provisional or Full Teacher Registration Certificate (TSC)
• Minimum of four (4) years High School teaching experience
• Ability to plan, program, and teach the SBC Curriculum (Grades 7–10)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and submit reports on time

Mandatory Application Documents

• Valid Teacher Registration Certificate (TSC)
• Degree with postgraduate qualification from a recognized university (UOG, PAU, DWU, or UPNG)
• Latest Inspection Report
• Police Clearance Report
• Proven competence in SBC curriculum delivery
• Experience as a Subject Master or Department Head (advantage)
• Two (2) referees
