The Papua New Guinea National Research Institute (PNG NRI) is seeking highly motivated, purpose-driven and results-oriented professionals to join its Information Systems Management Section. Suitable and qualified applicants are invited to apply for the following positions:

1. ICT Officer

Grade: NR 9 – NR 10

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communications Technology or Computer Science.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in an ICT technical role or data centre environment.
• Must be a member of the PNG Computer Society.
• Industry certification in Microsoft, VMware or Cisco will be an added advantage.

2. GIS & Database Officer

Grade: NR 9 – NR 10

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or Geographical Information Systems.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in database systems management and application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, MySQL).
• Must be a member of the PNG Computer Society.
• Industry certification in database or GIS application development is advantageous.
