Divine Word University (DWU), a private Catholic national university committed to quality research, learning, teaching, and community engagement, is seeking qualified and committed individuals for the following administrative roles at its Port Moresby Campus:
🔹 Executive Officer to the Campus Administrator
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Education, Communication, or a related field.
2 to 3 years of experience in executive coordination, report preparation, and managing confidential information in a university or similar institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Campus Administrator.
- Manage schedules, documentation, and follow-up on actions.
- Act as liaison between the Administrator and staff, students, and stakeholders.
🔹 Student Service Coordinator
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in student services, advising, and student discipline at the tertiary level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate student support services to enhance student experience.
- Lead initiatives on student retention and academic support.
- Collaborate with academic and admin teams to foster an inclusive environment.
🔹 Student Finance Officer
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in financial administration within a university or educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue student financial statements, receipts, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Reconcile accounts and support financial processes with the Finance and Student Services teams.
🔹 Assistant HR-Welfare Officer
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in HR, administration, or employee welfare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as first point of contact for staff welfare issues.
- Ensure institutional HR compliance.
- Manage immigration processes for staff (e.g., visas, passports, work permits).
