•  Investigations Officer – Internal Audit Department

Nambawan Super Limited (NSL), Papua New Guinea’s leading superannuation fund, is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Investigations Officer to join our Internal Audit Department based in Port Moresby.

This role is responsible for conducting fair and thorough investigations under the direction of the Head of Internal Audit. The successful candidate will focus on both internal and external investigations, including matters relating to fraud and financial losses, and support risk assessments and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations and verifications of internal business processes.
• Lead and support external fraud-related investigations.
• Accurately report fraud incidents and financial losses.
• Maintain, update, and monitor investigation files.
• Provide timely and professional feedback to clients.
• Assist the Manager Risk & Compliance in performing risk assessments.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Management Accounting or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in criminal investigations.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the superannuation industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Honest, trustworthy, self-motivated, and resilient.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to live and work in Port Moresby.
