Position Overview: Registered Nurse and Clinic Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse and Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Australian High Commission Medical Practice (Practice) in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. This is a key role ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients attending the Practice.
Under limited direction, you will manage the clinic’s operations, uphold exceptional standards of patient care, and contribute to the overall health and well-being of the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the Australian High Commission Medical Practice.
- Ensure the provision of safe, effective, and high-quality healthcare services to all patients.
- Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and stakeholders to maintain clinical excellence.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinic efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Provide nursing care and support to patients as required, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
- Act as a point of contact for patients, staff, and external partners, maintaining strong communication and relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant qualifications and experience.
- Proven experience in a clinical management or supervisory role, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under limited direction.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
