Six (6) Full-Time or part-time Coaches 

 Six full-time or part-time coach and development managers are needed to join the NRL Bid 18th Team. The positions are based in Port Moresby, Upper and Lower Highlands, Lae, and New Guinea Islands provinces.


Coordinating and delivering elite programs, these exciting roles focuses on detailed coaching in programs that contribute to the overall NRL Bid strategy of improving elite pathways. It also allows you to make a meaningful impact on the game at the school community rugby league level.

 The ideal applicant for this position should be driven, trustworthy, well-organized, and passionate about rugby league.

In the role you will:

🏉 Oversee the development and implementation of coaching initiatives and elite programs for the School    Community Rugby League.

🏉Enhance School Community Rugby League by providing program delivery and teacher/coach education assistance and updates.

🏉Identifying, creating, and organising individual and group work plans that aim to increase elite engagement in school-wide community rugby league programs.

🏉 Support projects or club growth that promote governance, capacity building, and overall compliance.

 Ideally you will have:

✅Background in sports and/or academic background.

✅Prior program development and facilitating experience.

✅Strong stakeholder management abilities, background dealing with demanding stakeholders, and capacity for handling challenging dialogues.

✅Excellent planning, scheduling, and time management abilities.

✅Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

✅Experience in teaching, coaching rugby league, first aid, and/or administration is strongly preferred.

 You must have / be:

✅A driver's license.

✅Agree to undertake child protection training.

✅Computer literate and have the ability to use MS office suite.
