PNG Paradise Foods has vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical) who will be based in (Lae) and reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator.
The Role: (Job responsibilities)
- Supervise, support and develop the electrical maintenance team
- Provide training support, development for apprentices and ensure compliance to courses
- Plan and implement safety responsibilities for your team
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance program
- Design, develop and install appropriate machine parts that meet the engineering set standards for the production and packaging equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting, monitoring, adjusting and servicing plant and equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns by diagnosing, rectifying and reporting faults
- Be available for call-outs after hours when call and is able to work extra hours.
- Enhance equipment performance by installing modifications or replacements, and adjustments
- Ensures that the repair works is carried out as per Electrical Specifications and Standards.
About You: (Job requirements)
PETT certificate or Diploma in Electrical or related field
- At least three years’ experience and demonstrated success in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate with excellent communication skills
- An Electrical License will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Automation will be an advantage
