PNGPCL is now inviting recent graduates or students in their final year of study to participate in its Graduate Development Program (GDP) for 2023. The program is part of the workforce planning intervention to recruit, develop and retain young professionals through successful training and development for a period of eighteen (18) months, commencing January 2023.
PNGPCL`s GDP is an excellent opportunity whereby graduates get to apply their knowledge to gain valuable skills in a key sector of the PNG economy. Graduates will be rotated within key functional units of respective departments within a structured timeframe and will have the opportunity to attend various workshops organized by PNGPCL as part of the program.
In addition, mentoring support will be provided to graduates by experienced citizen and non-citizen employees for inhouse transfer of job skills and knowledge purposes.

Interested graduates must have the following minimum skills, qualifications and experiences:
Expected Competencies:
- • Must be a citizen of PNG
- • Must be below the age of 27 years
- • Must be of sober habits
- • Have completed a degree program in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Economics, Law,
Human Resource Management, Psychology, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Media &
Communications and Engineering (Civil) in the last two years or are in the final year of study and are eligible to graduate at a recognized university in PNG or overseas
- • Have excellent academic results with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- • Have a clean Police record.
