Papua LNG Scholarship Program 2026 Round Now Open

The 2026 Papua LNG Scholarship for Education and Training Program is now open for applications, with the closing date extended to Wednesday, 14 October 2026.

The scholarship program provides opportunities for male and female students from the Papua LNG plant site villages to pursue education and training at tertiary institutions and vocational training institutions.

Eligible applicants must be from one of the following Papua LNG project area villages:

• Papa
• Lealea
• Boera
• Porebada

The Papua LNG Scholarship Program is sponsored by ExxonMobil PNG and managed by the Mineral Resource Development Company Ltd (MRDC).

Applicants are encouraged to ensure that their applications are completed correctly and submitted before the closing date.

Important Application Requirements

Applicants should take note of the following requirements:

• No late applications will be accepted.
• Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
• All required supporting documents must be attached.
• Applicants must be from the eligible Papua LNG plantsite villages of Papa, Lealea, Boera or Porebada.
• Applications from students outside the listed project areas will not be considered.
