Position 1: Innovation & Systems Specialist
Purpose of the Role
The Innovation and Systems Specialist will drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and systems to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of logistics operations. The role involves identifying innovative solutions, integrating systems, and improving operational competitiveness.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Certified Systems Analyst Professional
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics systems, technology implementation, or innovation roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, macros)
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and familiarity with logistics software such as Cargowise, TM Master, Cadi, or SQL
- Understanding of databases, cloud platforms, and ERPs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex projects
- Excellent collaboration, project, and time management skills
Position 2: MIS Reporting Specialist
Purpose of the Role
The MIS Reporting Specialist supports the operations of Steamships Logistics by developing and maintaining management information systems and reports. The position aims to deliver accurate insights that enhance operational efficiency, performance, and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science
- At least 2 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or reporting within the logistics, transport, or shipping industry
- Strong proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, macros)
- Experience with tools like Power BI and familiarity with logistics software such as Cargowise, TM Master, Cadi, or SQL
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to create dashboards and communicate insights clearly
- Excellent problem-solving and data interpretation skills
Position 3: Process Excellence Specialist
Purpose of the Role
The Process Excellence Specialist is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives by designing and implementing efficient processes across the organization. The role focuses on enhancing productivity and performance through process innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in process management
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead change in a dynamic work environment
- Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for continuous improvement
