JOB VACANCIES: RECOVERY OFFICER & MANAGER - PAYROLL RELATIONS & MONITORING

TISA is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join its Recoveries & Collections Team. These roles play a vital part in managing delinquent loans, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring effective debt recovery processes.
1. Recovery Officer
Location: Waigani, NCD
Role Purpose: Responsible for monitoring and recovering delinquent loans and supporting debt control initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage TISA’s delinquent loan portfolio
- Liaise with members and employers to recover defaulted loans
- Issue reminder notices and letters of demand
- Conduct member interviews and organize loan set-offs
- Upload data to Credit Data Bureau and prepare loan restructures
- Prepare documents for legal proceedings and manage related records
- Attend to member loan enquiries
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 2–3 years' experience in debt recovery (Banking/Finance sector)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word
- Ability to work under pressure with a results-driven mindset
2. Manager – Payroll Relations & Monitoring
Location: Waigani, NCD
Role Purpose: Lead payroll liaison with Government departments, oversee default recovery strategy, and ensure adherence to loan repayment terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with public sector departments to address defaulted loans
- Identify and act on payroll report exceptions
- Supervise loan monitoring and collections teams
- Maintain in-house recovery systems and procedures
- Strengthen business relationships and pursue new opportunities
- Report to Head of Recoveries & Collections
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, or Business Management
- 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of recovery processes and legal compliance
- Proficient in MS Office and banking procedures
