Position Available:

We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Technical Drafting Instructor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of future technical professionals while supporting the school's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans for assigned units.
• Teach technical drafting concepts using industry-standard tools and software.
• Assess students' work and provide timely, constructive feedback on their performance.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Foster an organized, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
• Participate in curriculum development and assist with proctoring examinations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration to enhance the learning experience.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting, a related technical field, or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Technical Drafting or Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• Certification in AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software (highly recommended).

Industry Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a technical draftsman, CAD technician, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with other drafting software such as SolidWorks or SketchUp (a plus).

Desired Skills:

• Expertise in using AutoCAD and other drafting software to create detailed technical drawings and plans.
• Strong understanding of technical drafting principles, standards, and practices, including blueprint interpretation.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to students at various levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and administration.
