Trukai Industries Limited is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Public Relations Executive to join our Marketing team. This position is based in Port Moresby and reports directly to the Public Relations & Communication Manager.
The role involves assisting in the implementation of Trukai Industries’ media and community relations strategies, with a focus on cultivating positive relationships with media stakeholders. The Public Relations Executive will primarily oversee the execution of Trukai Industries’ Corporate Social Responsibility Program under the Tru Care Brand.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations, or Public Diplomacy.
- Three or more years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG Industry or related sectors.
- Background in media industry or journalism preferred.
- Established relationships with media houses or agencies.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, speaking, writing, and research skills.
- Familiarity with engaging various community organizations, NGOs, and not-for-profit entities.
- Experience liaising with domestic and international stakeholders for conferences, interviews, and corporate updates.
- Support in developing and executing corporate campaigns.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Professional demeanor in managing internal and external stakeholders.
