 Are you a recent graduate seeking an opportunity to contribute to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Target 16.9? The Papua New Guinea Civil and Identity Registry (PNGCIR) invites dynamic individuals to join our team as Mobile Registration Officers.

Positions Available:

  • Central - 5 positions
  • Enga - 5 positions
  • Gulf - 40 positions
  • Oro - 5 positions
  • Western - 5 positions
  • West Sepik - 5 positions

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-registration with applicants.
  • Vet and review all filled registration forms.
  • Scan completed registration forms.
  • Capture facial photos and fingerprints for biometrics using the Mobile Enrolment Kit (MEU).
  • Perform control listing for collected data.
  • Export data from MEUs to the hard drive.
  • Transfer/upload raw data from MEUs to the main Civil and Identity Registry System (CIRS) in Port Moresby.
  • Follow up with the Team Leader for client queries using Control Listing.
  • Recapture unqualified photos identified through the control listing.

Selection Criteria/Requirements:

  • Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma from a recognized University/College (IT fields will be an Advantage).
  • Reside in the respective provinces as advertised.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs.
  • Excellent team player with sober habits.
  • Familiarity with provinces, districts, Local Level Governments (LLGs), and wards in PNG.
  • Good health and physical fitness.
  • Age between 20 - 26 years.
  • Provide current police clearance.
  • Provide current medical certificate.
  • Availability to work late and on weekends.
