Position: Chef
Location: iPi Catering Limited, Boroko NCD, Papua New Guinea

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and execute food preparation and service in line with food safety and HACCP standards.
- Engage in menu planning and efficiently manage food surpluses.
- Estimate menu requirements, order foodstuffs and kitchen supplies.
- Analyze recipes, manage food and labor costs, and delegate tasks to kitchen staff.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring timely and economical food production.
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing to maintain high-quality standards.
- Taste-test dishes to ensure flavor excellence.
- Craft special dishes utilizing local or seasonal ingredients.
- Train kitchen staff in best practices and oversee their professional development.
- Set and enforce standards for kitchen hygiene and quality.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department for kitchen equipment upkeep.
- Implement and document necessary corrective actions.
- Undertake additional roles as directed by the Catering Coordinator.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment for the culinary team.
