Over the next few weeks, positions will become available in the Mobile Equipment & Maintenance Section of the Asset Management & Infrastructure Department, we are encouraging suitably qualified and experience people in the following fields to lodge Expressions of Interest online.
To be suitable for these roles, you will possess the following:
- Tradesperson – Heavy Equipment Fitter
Recognized Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment Fitting
5+ years working experience in Heavy Equipment Fitting
Ability to read & interpret documents (safety rules, technical drawings, operating & maintenance instructions)
Excellent Communication Skills
- Tradesperson – Boilermaker
Recognized Trade Certificate in Boilermaker/ Welding
5 + years working experience in Boiler making
Ability to read & interpret documents (safety rules, technical drawings, operating & maintenance instructions)
Excellent Communication Skills
- Tradesperson – Machinist
Recognized Trade Certificate in Fitting & machining
5 + years working experience in Machining
Ability to read & interpret documents (safety rules, technical drawings, operating & maintenance instructions)
Excellent Communication Skills
- Tradesperson – Auto Electrician
Recognized Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical
5 + years working experience in Auto Electrical
Ability to read & interpret documents (safety rules, technical drawings, operating & maintenance instructions)
Excellent Communication Skills
- Tradesperson – Light Vehicle Mechanic
Recognized Trade Certificate in Automotive Light Vehicle
5 + years working experience as an LV Mechanic
Ability to read & interpret documents (safety rules, technical drawings, operating & maintenance instructions)
Excellent Communication Skills
- Planner – Mobile Equipment Maintenance
Preferred, Engineering based qualifications – Mechanical, or 5 years or more in a similar mobile maintenance planning role
A good knowledge of operations, trade, people, equipment, and work to be performed is critical for good planning jobs
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project
Sound knowledge of Oracle, Viziya (and SAP) and in relation to planning principles
Mobilization Requirement
This position is open to PNG Citizens Only
- Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and comply with the PJV Occupational Health & Safety Policy and all health and safety rules and procedures.
- Rotation is FIFO, 28 days on and 14 days off
- Adhere to Covid19 Protocols
- Must Have an up to date Police clearance Certificate (acquired within the last 6 months)
